Jerry Lee Tate, III was an absolutely adorable little bundle of joy born August 19, 1997. Thinking God wasn't going to bless us with more children after our two older children, Jerry Lee was a wonderful surprise gift from God Himself. I was so happy to have him that every time I saw him for at least the first few days, I cried with joy.
Named after his daddy and pappy, Jerry Lee was nicknmaed "Trey", but definitely named just right. He is just like his daddy and pappy in so many wonderful ways; his bright smile that make his dark brown eyes twinkle, his contagious belly laugh, the way he can make even the grumpiest people laugh and so many more wonderful qualities.
Trey is now 10 years old, but still the "baby" of the family and although he'll be quick to tell you he's no baby, he's fine with me saying he's my baby. He's a rambunctious little boy with dark brown hair (which used to be so blonde as baby that it was nearly white!) and surprising strength in his small frame. Even when he's quick to get angry, he's also quick to smile and laugh again and loves playing with his older brother and sister who he looks up to and learns so much from.
Trey loves inventing things and plans to be an inventor when he grows up. He also loves playing school and store with his sister and video games and Star Wars with his brother. He also loves gentle hugs and "cheek-smooshing-kisses" from his momma when he's sleepy or needs some "Momma Time". He also loves vehicles and watching "Trick My Truck" with his daddy and anxiously awaits the day he's old enough to go hunting with his daddy and big brother.
